First question:
Did anyone else see Live Free or Die Hard?

Second Question:
Did anyone else spend half the movie thinking to themselves "OMG! In about every other scene the bad guy looks like Matt Skiba!"?

Because i certainly did. I'm not sure what it is, because in some scene's they could be twins, and in others, i had no clue how i saw anything similar at all. It was really weird. But i spent half the movie with a big dumb smile on my face anyway, and not the same one i was wearing during the fight scenes.

their show last night was awesome. really small venue. darker my love played well. heavens covered the stone roses "i wanna be adored", which was very amazing. great night. matt snuck in right next to me to get on stage and then to leave at the end of the show. that's the closest i got, cause i didn't stick around at the end and he seemed to be in a hurry.

Epitaph has signed Heavens, the new project from Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba and Joe Steinbrick of F-Minus.

Matt told Punknews.org about the project last year:

"I'm also doing a project with Joe [Steinbrick] from F-Minus and our friend Sam and our buddy Ben is producing it. It's kind of got a Depeche Mode kind of vibe. I'm singing it, and Joe wrote all the music. We've got some guest performers coming in too."

The label will be releasing the album on September 12th in North America and September 11th in Europe.
