Our Smashing Speakers

What’s a Smashing Conference Like?

SmashingConf Freiburg is a small, friendly, inclusive event which is focused on real-world problems and solutions. The whole event takes place over 4 days, with 1 pre-day, 2 conference days and 2 workshop days with 3 practical workshops. The conference is single track with 12 speakers, about 300 friendly attendees and a handful of side events.

Our talks are not just showcases: our smashing speakers show how they work — their setup, techniques and shortcuts for getting work done in live interactive sessions. So expect everything from collaborative Figma projects to “this-is-how-we-code”-sessions, live.

SmashingConf Freiburg is focused on everything Web, and covers quite a range of topics from modern CSS to interface design. Our audience is super smashing, and ranges from junior UX'ers to senior front-end developers. That means you'll go home with not only a bundle of diverse, actionable insights for your work, but also with many new friends.

SmashingConf is rather special

We put our heart and soul into crafting personal, inclusive and valuable events for all of us to become better professionals. No fluff, no fillers, no multi-track experience and no large hotel halls. Instead, we believe in thoroughly curated speakers and talks, fun and interesting side-events and hands-on workshops in a friendly, inspiring and exciting settings.
