A SNES version would be very hard and take a very long time. I've played a fair bit of this for the past year or so and experimented with adjusting my own 3d profiles and it's really hard. The developer is going in Sprite by Sprite and turning each one sideways or whatever ways to make it pop out plus doing all sorts of other magic to make objects animated turn 2d sprites into 3d. Now imagine having to deal with 16 bit with way more sprites to deal with. The dev's one guy and I cant see a SNES one being possible without a huge team working on it
I wouldn't say it's impossible, but he DOES need to spend some time on the NES learning trick and shortcuts beforehand. the SNES is miles more detail, which means knowing some things ahead of time. Time will tell.
A particularly good example of what I mean. 3DSenVR has come a very long way since 2016, but is still a long way from handling detail-rich game like Chrono Trigger or Dracula X. (of which the first would be down-right nightmare holy grail! heh!) The best solution I can think is to spend time on plenty of NES profiles and learn ample techniques. Then to develop those into a SNES variant and tool kit that the community can help build upon. Hence he'd provide the groundwork for translating 16bit games and have aid translating such a wealth of detail into 3D.
so why wasn't a GB version produced. I recall something about how the NES handles graphics? Also is there a better set of tools for making new games for 3dsenvr. The current set are very difficult to use.
Square Enix is doing 3DSEN style on their Final Fantasy titles, hopefully 3dSEN can get a gameboy and super nintendo version I would gladly pay for them whatever price
SFC is my favourite video game console!

How about these current days? :P
I'm intrigued by 3D Sen VR but I'm not sure I could enjoy this in few games like Ghosts 'N Goblins / Elevator Action / Arkanoid
But, if SNES support is added that could be another level, like playing several beatm'ups like Turtles in Time or Golden Axe.
Is there a chance to add SNES? or maybe even any other machine support?
To be honest, I'm not sure why there is no development for MAME in VR at all
No Zombies Ate My Neighors in VR. Too scary!
