Eddie is a sweet little Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He was found
running around the streets confused and scared. He's about a year old, 12lbs,
tan short/medium length coat, and very loyal and energetic. He loves,
loves, LOVES attention, and is great on road trips! He gets along with
chill cats, and is fine with... other dogs, but would probably prefer to be
someone's only baby, or at least in a home without other pushy dogs. He
definitely has a protective "Chihuahua personality" but warms up very
quickly to strangers. If you are looking for a walking partner, this guy
can go for miles, but he's also happy zipping around the backyard and
snuggling with a couch potato.

Eddie is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered. He is being fostered through Gateway Pet Guardians.

FOUND! She was sent to the Humane Society early this morning. They said she was turned in three counties over. We got her all nice and clean (and looking like a naked mole rat)...she's alright now. She was so happy to see us and all is well.

He is around 8 months old. We adopted him today for free from a woman out in the South End that said her husband "bought him from someone that said he was a full blooded pit bull but now he won't even mess with him."

The woman said the dog has always been kept outdoors and the most her husband would do was "throw him some food". She was willing to give him away to anyone regardless of their intentions it seemed to me because my initial e mail to her was "I'll take him." and she responded with her address and when I could pick him up. When we got there I asked a lot of questions, since we cannot keep him and just wanted to save him from going to a shitty home or become as I've heard it put 'a disposable sparring partner for another Pit Bull" he needs a home QUICK!

Basically, he seems well tempered but needy affectionate-wise. He would need a backyard probably or someone to take him on many walks often.
Okay with older kids (10 and up) but I think he would need to be an only dog but I'm not sure yet.

Well I join this community a few weeks maybe even a month ago and haven't got to post yet.

Well I have 2 dogs, and 3 cats.
My one doggie is a yorkie poodle mix. Really old dog about 13yrs old named Baby
My other dog is just a little mut and she is around 2yrs old named Sophie

My cats just regular cats no special breed
Charlotte, Sassy, and Smokey

Now I have a question or two My dog Sophie I will post a picture at the bottem. She was really abused when we got her, and was really scared, and stand offish when we found her a little over a year ago. Now within the last 6mo she has become really protective. Which ok is a really good thing. At some point. She barks even bites people she don't know.
Now my friend has a baby he is about 21 mo old. The other day he kicked her and she snapped at him. She didn't bite him just snapped at him. Well the next day he was outside playing and she was laying down and he fell on her and she bit him. Now she has NEVER done this with any other children.

What would be the appropriate way of handling this. I don't want to keep her locked up in a bedroom, or outside while he is here. Because I don't know if that would just make her more jelouse of him. Which could make her more angry.
So what should i do? Lock the kid up or the dog? lol

I'm sure she don't like him because he kicked her and is mean to her, but I don't know how to handle the situation.. Any suggections.
