Add passes to Wallet in Safari on Mac

You can use Safari to add passes, such as boarding passes or movie tickets, to Wallet (or Passbook) on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.

iCloud must be set up for Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch (iOS 6 or later) or Mac.

Open Safari for me

Add a pass to Wallet

  1. Go to the Safari app πŸ‘ Image
    on your Mac.

  2. Go to the pass.

  3. Click Add to Wallet in the pass.

    If you already added the pass, but its content is different, click Update.

View a pass

  1. Go to the Safari app πŸ‘ Image
    on your Mac.

  2. Go to the webpage with the pass.

  3. Click the link for the pass on the webpage.

    If the bar code is dimmed, the pass has been redeemed or is expired. For details about a pass, click πŸ‘ the Info button
    in the pass.

Share a pass

  1. Go to the Safari app πŸ‘ Image
    on your Mac.

  2. Go to the pass.

  3. Click πŸ‘ the Share button
     in the pass.

  4. Choose how to share the pass.

    To choose which items appear in the Share menu, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click General πŸ‘ Image
    in the sidebar, then click Login Items & Extensions. (You may need to scroll down.) See Change Login Items & Extensions settings.

When you add a pass to your iPhone, it’s also added to Wallet on Apple Watch, if Mirror iPhone is turned on in the Apple Watch app. In the Apple Watch app, tap My Watch, go to Notifications > Wallet & Apple Pay, then turn on Mirror my iPhone.
