Delete a bookmark in Safari on Mac

You can delete bookmarks and bookmarks folders that you no longer need.

Open Safari for me

  1. Go to the Safari app 👁 Image
    on your Mac.

  2. Click Bookmarks in the sidebar.

    If the sidebar isn’t shown, click 👁 the Sidebar button
    in the toolbar.

    If you don’t see Bookmarks at the top or bottom of the sidebar, click 👁 the Back button
    at the top of the sidebar.

  3. Click 👁 the More button
    ,     then choose Show Folders on Top.

  4. Control-click the bookmark or folder, then choose Delete.
