Make Chrome your default browser
Important: Make sure you have Google Chrome downloaded and installed on your iPhone or iPad. Download Chrome for iPhones and iPads.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome 👁 Chrome
. - Tap More 👁 More

Settings 👁 Settings
👁 and then
Default Browser. - Tap Go to Settings... 👁 and then
Default Browser App. - Set Chrome as your default browser app.
Make Gmail your default mail app
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to your Default Apps settings.
- To find these settings, you may need to download the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
- Set Gmail as the default mail app. Learn how to change your default apps for features on iPhone and iPad.
Tip: To make these your defaults on your iPhone or iPad, you need iOS version 18.0 or up.
