Turn on advanced features
This article describes the procedures for activating, managing, and disabling advanced features within Google Ad Manager, which requires specific administrative or legal user permissions. It outlines the steps for accepting terms and conditions, monitoring cost updates, and contacting support for features that were originally activated offline.

You can activate some advanced features, and their associated costs, directly in Ad Manager.
Activating advanced features requires the Administrator or Legal manager user role, or the following permissions:
- View Advanced features
- Edit Advanced features
If you can't access this section, contact your administrator.
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Admin and then Advanced features.
- Under "Advanced features," review available features.
For more details about a feature, click Learn more, or review the cost data. - To activate a feature, under "Status," turn on the switch 👁 On
.- To use advanced features on your network, review and accept the "General terms and conditions," then click Continue. This step only needs to be done once.
Tip: To review the terms again later, in the top-right corner, click 👁 More options
. - Review the terms for the specific feature, then click Continue to accept them.

- To get started with the new feature, under the feature name, click Learn more.
If the terms or associated costs of an advanced feature are updated, a notification shows on the "Advanced features" page in Ad Manager. You can accept the updated terms directly through the notification.
To review the notifications and accept updated terms:
- Under "Advanced features" review any notifications.
- On a notification, click View terms and review the details.

Turn off a feature
To turn off a feature, under "Status," turn off the switch 👁 Off

If you cannot deactivate the feature, you'll need to contact support to turn off the feature.
