Using your Monthly revenue summary workspace
The Monthly revenue summary workspace provides revenue insights across Google-monetized demand channels, including Ad server, Ad Exchange, Open Bidding, and SDK Bidding.
This workspace applies predefined dimensions, metrics, and filters to generate overview charts and detailed breakdowns. Note that the data shown is estimated revenue data from reporting. Please be aware of the limitations of estimated revenue.
The workspace has two sections: "Summary" and "Detail." In each section, you can:
- Click 👁 Show configuration
to view the configuration of a chart or table. Hover over "Filter" for further details. - Click 👁 View in reporting
to view an interactive report. Review the filters and time zone to understand the report setup that generated the data.
About the "Summary" section
The "Summary" section includes two charts showing the estimated monthly revenue from Google-monetized ads traffic through your Ad Manager network. The pie chart shows a holistic view of the data, while the line chart shows breakdowns by date. The Google monetization includes revenue from Ad server, Ad Exchange, Open Bidding, and SDK Bidding.
About the "Detail" section
The "Detail" section includes tables that break down estimated Google monetization revenue. Note that the Ad server revenue numbers are from Ad Manager reports in your own network’s time zone. Other demand revenue numbers are from reports in Pacific Time.
View the workspace
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- On the "Home workspace" menu, click👁 Expand
and select Monthly revenue summary.- Adjust the "Month" and "Currency" filters as desired. The three previous months of data are available.
- To download a sharable file of the data, click Export to Google Sheets.
- Under "Summary," review the two charts:

To view revenue on a specific date, hover over the timeline. Revenue by demand channel (pie chart): Shows an overview of revenue by demand channel. - Under "Detail," review the tables for each demand channel. - Ad server revenue by programmatic channel: Includes Preferred Deals and Programmatic Guaranteed. Based on your network’s time zone.
- Ad Exchange revenue by product: Products include Video, Mobile in-app, and Display. Based on Pacific Time.
- Bidder revenue: Shows the individual bidders and monthly revenue for each bidder. Includes Open Bidding and SDK Bidding. Based on Pacific Time.
