View suggested mappings for publisher provided signals (Beta)

Only available in Google Ad Manager 360.

You can review, accept, or reject category mappings suggested by Google AI for publisher provided signals. Using the suggested categories can help streamline your mapping workflow, reducing the need for manual effort.

Review, approve, and reject suggested mappings

To view and manage suggested mappings for all taxonomy types:

  1. Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
  2. Navigate to Signals, then Publisher provided signals.

    Is your menu different? This navigation is being updated in phases. Learn more about what's changing and where to find pages during the transition.
  3. On the "Suggested mappings" card, click Review mappings.

  4. (Optional) To filter the table columns, click Add new filter, then make your selections and click Apply. Available column filters include:
    • Category mapping
    • Category path
    • Entity
    • Entity type
    • Taxonomy type
  5. For an entity on the table, review the suggested category mapping. 
  6. To approve or reject a mapping: 
    1. Next to the entity type, check the box.
    2. Click Approve or Reject

If you approve the mapping, the entity is assigned the mapping and removed from the "Suggested mappings" card. You can find it under the appropriate signal type card, such as "IAB content taxonomy." To view the updated entity, on the signal type card, click View or create mappings.

Note: Mapping of publisher data is updated every Tuesday at noon.

If you reject the mapping, it is removed from the list of suggested mappings. You can manually create a category mapping.

FAQ

What publisher data is eligible for suggested mappings

All human readable data that is mappable to publisher provided signals and connected to a publisher's ad requests in Ad Manager is considered. This includes UserLists, Custom Key Values, and CMS Metadata.
