Notifications for audience segments

Only available in Google Ad Manager 360.

Some changes to both first-party and third-party audience segments can trigger notifications. Notifications are displayed at the top of Ad Manager by the bell icon 👁 Notifications
.

Audience segment bell notifications can't be turned off or configured.

When you open a notification, you’ll see a list of affected line items targeted by the given audience segment, along with a link to the segment approvals page or the segment details page, depending on the type of notification.

In order to see audience notifications, you must have the user role of an administrator.

Here are descriptions of each notification you might see.

  • Segment price has changed: A segment’s price has increased and its active price will expire in 30 days or less. You can either re-approve the segment at the new price, or let it expire.
  • Segment is set to expire: A segment will expire in 30 days or less. You can either re-approve the segment within that time period, or let it expire.
  • Segment is inactive: A segment is not marked as "active." For first party segments, simply select Active as the status of the segment. For third-party segments, you’ll need to contact the data provider.
