Streamline reporting with custom report presets
In June 2026, the "Reports" tool will be fully deactivated. The new reporting experience, "Interactive reports," is now available to all Ad Manager publishers. Learn more about the migration to Interactive reports.
Generating consistent, high-quality data is essential for managing your ad network, but manually selecting the same dimensions and metrics for every new report can be time-consuming and prone to error. Report presets allow you to define a "default starting point" for different report types in Google Ad Manager.
By pre-selecting your most frequently used settings, such as specific date ranges, dimensions, and metrics—these options will automatically populate whenever you initiate a new report. This ensures that your data collection remains consistent across your team and allows you to move directly to analysis rather than configuration.

Create report presets
The "Reports" tool will soon be replaced by "Interactive reports". Interactive report features include real-time data visualization and AI-driven insights. Use these steps for presets within the Reports (Deprecated) .
- Sign in to Google Ad Manager.
- Click Reporting, then Reports.
- Click 👁 Settings
Presets. - Find the "Report type" (for example, Historical, Reach) you want to customize.
- Select the dimensions, metrics, or date ranges you want to appear by default whenever you start a new report of that type.
- Click Done.
