5. Set up Account recovery

If you forget your password, your recovery options help you get back into your account.

1. Open your device Settings app.
2. Tap Google 👁 and then
   Profile Photo 👁 and then
   Manage your Google Account.
3. At the top, tap Security.
4. Under "How you sign in to Google," tap Recovery phone. You might need to sign in.
5. From here, you can:

• Add a recovery phone.
• Change your recovery phone: Next to your number, tap Edit 👁 Image

• Delete your recovery phone: Next to your number, tap Delete 👁 Image
  .

6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Tip: If you delete your recovery phone number, it may still be used for other Google services. To manage your phone numbers, go to your account.
