Enter payment info automatically in apps

You can save your payment info to Google Pay to pay for items later. When you enter info in a new form in an app, your phone could ask you to save that info.

Where your payment info is saved

When you make a purchase on your device, it could ask whether you want Google to save your payment info. If you accept, your info will be saved to Google Wallet.

Tip: To make sure that you're the owner of the card, Google may do a low-value credit card authorization when the card is entered or saved from an Android app. This appears on your card statement as "GOOGLE * TEMPORARY HOLD."
