Edit your business hours

You can set and edit your business’s hours on your Business Profile for Google Maps and Search. This helps customers to find your business’s most up to date and accurate hours of operation for a normal week. Learn more about business hours guidelines.

Manage your business

Set main business hours

1. Go to your Business Profile.
2. To edit your business info:
   • On Google Search: Click Edit profile.
   • On Google Maps: Click Edit profile 👁 and then
      Business information.
3. At the top right, click Hours 👁 and then
    Edit 👁 Pencil icon / edit icon
    👁 and then
   Open with main hours.
   • If you don’t want your business hours to show on your profile, click Open with no main hours 👁 and then
      Save.
4. Next to each day of the week that your business is open, check the box.
5. To set hours, use the dropdowns.
6. After you set your hours, click Save.

Set business hour breaks

To indicate your business hour breaks, create 2 entries for the same day with different times.

1. Go to your Business Profile.
2. To edit your business info:
   • On Google Search: Click Edit profile.
   • On Google Maps: Click Edit profile 👁 and then
      Business information.
3. At the top right, click Hours 👁 and then
    Edit 👁 Pencil icon / edit icon
    👁 and then
    Open with main hours.
4. Next to the day of the week that your business is open, check the box.
   • Example: If your business is open from 9 AM–2 PM on Saturdays and closed from 2 PM–5 PM, then open again from 5 PM–10 PM:
     1. Check the box next to “Saturday.”
     2. To set the start of your business hour break: 
        • Click Opens at 👁 and then
           9:00 AM. 
        • Click Closes at 👁 and then
           2:00 PM.
     3. Click Add hours 👁 Image
        .
     4. To set the end of your business hour break:
        • Click Opens at 👁 and then
           5:00 PM. 
        • Click Closes at 👁 and then
           10:00 PM.
     5. Click Save.

Set 24 hour business hours

Each day of the week that your business is open, click Opens at 👁 and then
 24 hours 👁 and then
 Save.

Set Special hours & More hours

You can let your customers know about changes in your business hours or when certain services are available.

• For days when you have unusual hours, such as holidays or special events, you can set Special hours. Special hours are when your business:
  • Temporarily adjusts its hours of operation.
  • Remains closed for 6 days in a row or fewer.
• If you offer specific services with different times such as senior hours, or delivery and takeout hours, you can set More hours.

Edit posts on Business Profile about your updated hours

After you update your hours, customers can find:

• On your Business Profile: A message that confirms your recent update. 
• On the Updates tab of your profile in mobile devices: A post that confirms you made a change to your hours.

To give more info about your updated hours, edit your post.

To remove the hours update message and the post, delete your associated post.
