Answer questions about your inventory

Google may ask you quick yes or no questions about your in-store products. These questions show in the “Products” section of your profile on the Google Maps app or on Google Search.

When you update Google with information about the in-store products you offer, customers who search for those items in your area might more easily find your business.

Eligible businesses

For your Business Profile to be eligible for product inventory questions, your business must be a local store that sells physical goods.

Tip: This feature isn’t available for all Business Profiles.

Check if you have product questions to answer

Important: Accurate responses about your inventory help to provide a better experience for shoppers on Google. Misrepresentations of your inventory violate our policies and aren’t allowed.

Answer product questions in the Google Maps app

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app 👁 Maps
   .
2. At the bottom right, tap Business.
3. Tap Products.
4. To answer if you sell the product, tap Yes or No.

Answer product questions on Google Search

1. Go to your Business Profile.
2. Select Edit products.
3. In the "Products" pop-up window, select Answer simple questions about your store 👁 and then
   Continue.
4. To answer if you sell the product, select Yes or No.

Tip: If you don't find any questions, there are currently no product inventory questions for you to answer.

Update your answers

Once you answer questions related to your product, you have the option to update your responses.

Update your answers in the Google Maps app

1. On your mobile device, open the Google Maps app 👁 Maps
   .
2. At the bottom right, tap Business.
3. Tap Products 👁 and then
   Manage.
4. To update your answers, tap Yes or No.

Update your answers on Google Search

1. Go to your Business Profile.
2. Select Edit products.
3. In the "Products" pop-up window, select Answer simple questions about your store 👁 and then
   Continue.
4. Select Manage.
5. To update your answers, select Yes or No.

Tips:

• When you answer these questions, it’ll help Google understand the types of products you sell.
• To add individual products to your Business Profile manually, use the Product Editor.
• You can also add products to your Business Profile automatically.
