Use Dark theme in Calendar

In Google Calendar, you can switch the default bright background to a dark background.

Turn on Dark theme in the Calendar app

Important: You can use Dark theme in the Calendar app on Android 7 and up. Learn how to check your Android version.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open Calendar 👁 Calendar
   .
2. Tap Menu 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Settings 👁 and then
   General.
3. On the “General” page, tap Theme 👁 and then
   Dark.

Tips:

• To change the theme of your Calendar widget and notifications, manage your Android screen and display settings.
• For Android 10 and up: If "battery saver mode" or "Dark theme" is enabled in your system settings, widgets and the Calendar automatically switch to a Dark theme.
• For Android 9 and lower: Widgets are always in Light theme.
