Search for a space
You can use search to find spaces in Google Chat you're interested in or have been invited to.
Search for a space in Chat or Gmail
- On your computer, open Google Chat or Gmail.
- In Gmail: On the left, click Chat.
- Next to "Spaces," click Section actions 👁 Image
👁 and then
Browse spaces 👁 Image
. - Enter the name of the space that you want to find.
- Click the space name or View.
- If the space is open, click Join. You can also preview the messages.
- If the space is private or discoverable and the space allows it, you can submit a request to join.
