Set up Chrome for the first time
Add a shortcut to Chrome
To easily find Chrome after you install it, you can add it to your taskbar.
Through the Chrome app:
- Open Chrome.
- On the taskbar, right-click Chrome.
- Select Pin to taskbar.
Through the Start menu:
- On your computer, open Start 👁 Image
. - Find "Chrome.”
- Right-click Chrome.
- Select Pin to taskbar.
Tip: If there's no more space in the taskbar, you’ll need to remove an app first.
- Right-click the app you want to unpin.
- Select Unpin from taskbar.
