Create a shortcut for Chrome

1. On your home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
2. At the top of the screen, tap Add 👁 New tab
   .
3. Search for Chrome widgets and select Chrome.
4. Swipe to find Chrome widgets.
5. At the bottom on the screen, tap Add Widget 👁 Add question
   .

Important: This feature is only available on iPhone.

1. On your lock screen, touch and hold an empty space.
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Customize.
   • To select a new wallpaper with widgets, tap Add New 👁 Add question
     .
3. To customize your lock screen, tap the lock screen.
4. On the screen, tap Add Widgets.
   • If your lock screen already has widgets, under the time, tap the box with widgets.
5. Under "Add Widgets," scroll to find and tap Chrome.
6. Swipe left for available widgets.
7. Tap or drag the widget to your lock screen.
8. Next to "Add Widgets," tap Close 👁 Close
   .
9. At the top right, tap Done.
10. To exit customization mode, tap the lock screen again.

1. From the home screen, swipe right to the Search bar.
2. Scroll, then tap Edit.
3. At the top of the screen, tap Add 👁 New tab
   .
4. Search for Chrome widgets and select Chrome.
5. Swipe to find Chrome widgets.
6. At the bottom on the screen, tap Add Widget 👁 Add question
   .
7. To complete, tap anywhere on the screen.

Tip: If you're on an iPhone 6s or later, you can press and hold the Chrome app to start a new Voice Search, open a new tab, scan a QR code, or find your most-visited sites.
