Rating Manipulation

Rating manipulation refers to any attempt to directly or indirectly influence the star rating of a place on the map through fake and misleading content. This includes, but is not limited to, soliciting fake reviews, coercing or pressuring customers for specific ratings or reviews, or orchestrating coordinated campaigns to unfairly inflate or deflate a place’s rating.
