Incentivized reviews are reviews and ratings influenced by a payment, discount, free goods or services, or any other benefit offered to the reviewer; or biased by a personal or professional conflict of interest. When a business offers incentives in exchange for reviews, this undermines content integrity and can mislead consumers.
