Customize transitions between scenes

Important: Learn which Google Account types have access to Google Vids and different Vids features.

Add & customize scene transitions

1. On your computer, open Google Vids.
2. In the start menu, select Blank vid.
3. At the bottom, between two scenes click Transition 👁 Image
   .
4. In the Transitions sidebar, choose a transition type.
5. To change the duration of the animation, drag the duration slider.

Tips:

• Transitions cause scenes to overlap in playback.
• To avoid videos or animated objects from appearing during the transition, adjust their timing using object tracks. Learn more about object tracks.
