Rename a file

On your Android device, open Files by Google 👁 Files by Google
.
Tap a category or a storage device. You'll find files from that category in a list.
Select an option below:
- If you're on Grid view 👁 Image
  :
  1. Press and hold the file.
  2. Tap More 👁 More
    .
- If you're on List view 👁 List
  : Next to the file, tap More 👁 More
  .
Tap Rename.
Enter a new name.
Tap OK.
