Copy files to an existing folder in Internal storage
You can copy files to an existing folder on your device.
Copy files from Categories section
- On your Android device, open Files by Google 👁 Files by Google
. - Under "Categories," select a category.
- Find the files you want to copy.
- To copy one file:
- In grid view 👁 Image
:- Press and hold the file.
- Tap More 👁 More
👁 and then
Copy to.
- In list view 👁 List
: Next to the file, tap More 👁 More
👁 and then
Copy to.
- In grid view 👁 Image
- To copy multiple files:
- In grid view 👁 Image
:- Press and hold a file that you want to copy.
- To select more files, at the top of each file you want to copy, tap the circle.
- At the top right, tap More 👁 More

Copy to.
- Press and hold a file that you want to copy.
- In list view 👁 List
:- Next to the file, tap More 👁 More
. - Next to each file you want to copy, tap the circle.
- At the top right, tap More 👁 More
👁 and then
Copy to.
- Next to the file, tap More 👁 More
- In grid view 👁 Image
- To copy one file:
- Choose the folder you want to copy the file to.
- Enter folder name in the pop-up.
- Tap Copy here.
Copy files from Storage devices section
- On your Android device, open Files by Google 👁 Files by Google
. - Scroll to "Storage devices."
- Tap Internal storage.
- Find the folder with the files you want to copy.
- Find the files you want to copy.
- To copy one file:
- In grid view 👁 Image
:- Press and hold the file.
- Tap More 👁 More
👁 and then
Copy to.
- In list view 👁 List
: Next to the file, tap More 👁 More
👁 and then
Copy to.
- In grid view 👁 Image
- To copy multiple files:
- In grid view 👁 Image
:- Press and hold a file that you want to copy.
- To select more files, at the top of each file you want to copy, tap the circle.
- At the top right, tap More 👁 More
