What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device?
If you lose your Fitbit device, try the tips below to find it. If you have Fitbit Inspire 2, use the Tile app to find your device.

Check the Google Health app to see the last time your device synced. If it synced recently, it's likely within range of your phone.

Take your phone to the area where you think you lost your device and try to sync. If your device syncs, it's nearby.

Try using a Bluetooth locator app to help you find your device. For iPhone, try LightBlue Explorer. For Android, try Bluetooth Finder.
- Make sure the Tile app ๐ Image
is installed on Inspire 2. If you donโt see the Tile app ๐ Image
on your tracker, install it:- With your tracker nearby, open the Google Health app ๐ Image
. Tap Connections ๐ Image
๐ and then
your device. - Tap Apps.
- Tap Tile ๐ and then
Install ๐ and then
Install.
- With your tracker nearby, open the Google Health app ๐ Image
- On your phone, download and install the Tile app from one of the following locations:
- Apple devicesโApple App Store
- Android devicesโGoogle Play Store
- Open the Tile app on your phone. If you have a Tile account, tap Sign In and log in to your account. If you donโt have a Tile account:
- Tap Get Started ๐ and then
scroll down and tap Google Health ๐ and then
Next. - Create an account and tap SignUp.
- Verify your email address.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to allow Tile to access Bluetooth and Location Services on your phone.
- Tap Get Started ๐ and then
- Tap ๐ Image
Add a Tile. - Under "Activate a Tile Enabled Device," scroll down and tap Google Health ๐ and then
Next. - Follow the on-screen instructions to activate Tile on Inspire 2. When prompted, tap the check mark ๐ Image
on your Inspire 2 screen to complete the activation.

Note that Tile is only available in certain languages at this time.
- On your phone, open the Tile app.
- Tap Inspire 2 ๐ and then
Find. If the Tile app finds your tracker, your tracker vibrates. - When you find your tracker, tap Done in the Tile app on your phone.

If your tracker isnโt nearby, view its Location History or turn on the option to be notified when your tracker is detected on the Tile network.
How can I find my Inspire 2 Tracker using the map?
- Open the Tile app on your phone.
- Tap Inspire 2 ๐ and then
Location History. Your trackerโs last known location appears on the map, along with the last date and time your tracker and phone were connected to each other.

How can the Tile app alert me if it detects my Tracker on its network?
- Open the Tile app on your phone.
- Tap the Inspire 2 tile.
- Tap Notify When Found and confirm. When another user comes within range of your tracker, you receive a notification and your trackerโs location is anonymously updated in the Tile app.

- On Inspire 2, open the Tile app ๐ Image
. - Tap Find my Phone. Your phone vibrates and rings if itโs nearby, even if notifications are muted.

- With Inspire 2 nearby, in the Tile app on your phone, tap the Inspire 2 tile.
- Scroll down and tap More Options ๐ and then
Reset ๐ and then
Reset. When the Tile feature deactivates on your Fitbit device, you see a confirmation message in the Tile app.
If the Tile app canโt connect to your Fitbit device, you see a message with an option to permanently disable the Tile ๐ Image
feature on your Fitbit device. If you want to permanently disable the Tile feature ๐ Image
on this device, tap Proceed to Disable Tile. If you want to temporarily disable the Tile feature, tap Cancel and follow the on-screen troubleshooting steps or try again later.
If you canโt remove Tile from your device by deactivating it in the Tile app on your phone:

If you lose your Fitbit device and want to permanently disable the Tile ๐ Image
on your Fitbit device:
- In the Tile app on your phone, tap the Inspire 2 tile.
- Scroll down and tap More Options ๐ and then
Reset. A message appears with an option to permanently disable the Tile ๐ Image
feature on your Fitbit device. - Tap Proceed to Disable Tile.
