To fix the unsupported Google Ads browser error, update your browser to the latest version. If you're still experiencing other technical issues with Google Ads, such as pages not working or loading correctly, features not working, it might be due to browser-related issues.

Troubleshooting common browser technical issues

If you experience persistent technical difficulties with Google Ads while using a supported browser, such as ads not appearing, error messages (for example, 404 error, server errors), or unresponsive buttons, proceed with the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Clear browser cache and cookies: Old data stored in your browser can cause loading and formatting issues. Clearing cache data often resolves browser issues.
  • Enable cookies and JavaScript: For Google Ads to function correctly, you must enable cookies and JavaScript. Enable them in your browser settings.
  • Use an incognito or private browsing window: This helps determine if browser extensions or add-ons are interfering with Google Ads. If the issue doesn't occur in a private window, try disabling your extensions one by one.
  • Disable VPN, proxy, or ad blockers: These tools can sometimes block scripts necessary for Google Ads to run properly. Try to turn them off temporarily to check if that solves the issue.
  • Try a different browser or device: This can help you figure out if the problem is specific to one browser or computer.
Note: After creating a new Google Ads campaign or ad, it can take up to 24 hours for us to review it and start serving. If you've tried all the troubleshooting steps and your new campaign still has zero impressions after 24 hours, check the approval status of your campaign.
