Troubleshooting enhanced conversions for web diagnostics

Important: Enhanced conversions for web and leads will soon be combined into a single on/off setting. Starting in April 2026, Google Ads will simultaneously accept user-provided data from website tags, Data Manager, and API connections and you will no longer need to choose between different implementation methods. Enhanced conversions for web improves conversion measurement and bidding by sending hashed first-party data to Google in a privacy safe way.

When a customer converts on your website, you can capture their first-party data, hash it, send it to Google, and use it to improve your conversion measurement.

After you’ve Set up enhanced conversion for web with the Google tag or Set up enhanced conversions for web with Google Tag Manager, you can validate that it is effectively working in the enhanced conversions tag diagnostics report.
