How can I help secure my Fitbit account and data?

This article provides information and resources to help you secure your Fitbit account and data.

If you sign in to Fitbit with your Google Account, see the Google Accounts help article for additional information.

To see which devices are logged into your Fitbit account, choose a section below:

If you sign in with your Google Account

  1. From the Today tab πŸ‘ Image
    , tap your profile picture πŸ‘ Image
     Fitbit settings.
  2. In the Your data in Fitbit section, tap Manage access to account πŸ‘ Image
     Manage connected devices.
  3. Tap a device to see more details about the last time it was used to access your account.

If you sign in with your Fitbit login

  1. From the Today tab πŸ‘ Image
    , and tap the settings icon πŸ‘ Image
    .
  2. In the Your data in Fitbit section, tap Manage access to account πŸ‘ Image
     Manage connected devices.
  3. Tap a device to see more details about the last time it was used to access your account
  1. On the Fitbit settings page, click Manage Account Access under the Settings menu.
  2. Click a device to see more details about the last time it was used to access your Fitbit account.

To help keep your Fitbit account secure, remove or revoke access to devices that:

  • You don't recognize
  • Were used to log in to your account at a location or time you don’t recognize
  • Show a web browser you don’t normally use

To remove a device that is logged into your Fitbit account.

If you sign in with your Google Account

  1. From the Today tab πŸ‘ Image
    , tap your profile picture πŸ‘ Image
     Fitbit settings.
  2. In the Your data in Fitbit section, tap Manage access to account πŸ‘ Image
     Manage connected devices.
  3. Tap a device to see more details about the last time a logged-in device was used to access your account.
  4. Tap Revoke Access to sign out of your account on that device.

If you sign in with your Fitbit login

  1. From the Today tab πŸ‘ Image

  3. Tap a device to see more details about the last time a logged-in device was used to access your account.
  4. Tap Revoke Access to sign out of your account on that device.
  1. On the Fitbit settings page, click Manage Account Access β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹under the Settings menu.
  2. Click a device to see more details about the last time it accessed your account.
  3. Click Revoke Access to sign out of your account on that device.

If we determine that your password may be unsafe, you might be prompted to change your password before you can log in to your account. For information about how to choose a safe password, see How do I change or reset my Fitbit password?

We recommend that you turn on two factor authentication to make your Fitbit account more secure. For more information, see How do I protect my Fitbit account with two factor authentication?

Contact Fitbit Customer Support if you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from Fitbit or if you suspect you've been a victim of fraud.

Keep your Fitbit software and device updated to ensure you receive the latest security updates.
