How do I control my Fitbit data?

Learn how to review or make changes to your Fitbit data and privacy settings. 

Your Fitbit health and wellness data won't be used for Google Ads and is kept separate from Google Ads data.

  1. Tap the Today tab 👁 Image
    , and tap the icon in the top left.
  2. Under Settings, tap Social & Sharing 👁 Image
     Privacy.
  3. Review your privacy settings.
Note: Data for the duration that you used the feature is still stored even after you turn off the feature. To delete that data, see How do I delete my Fitbit health and wellness data?

If you sign in with your Google Account

  1. Tap the Today tab 👁 Image
    , then tap the icon in the top right.
  2. Tap Your data in Fitbit.
  3. Under Data and features, tap Manage features you turned on.
  4. Tap a feature to learn how it works, review how it uses your data, or to turn it off.

If you sign in with your Fitbit login

  1. From the Today tab 👁 Image
    , then tap the icon in the top left.
  2. Swipe down, and tap Manage Features.
  3. Tap a feature to turn it off 👁 Image
     Turn off.

If you sign in with your Google Account

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab 👁 Image
    .
  2. Tap the feature or score that you want to turn on.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to learn about the feature or score.
  4. If you wish to turn on the feature, tap I Agree.

If you sign in with your Fitbit login

  1. On the Today tab 👁 Image
    , tap Edit.
  2. Swipe down and find the stat you want to add, then tap Add.
  3. Tap Done.
  4. On the Today tab, tap the feature. If prompted, follow the on-screen instructions to learn about the feature or score.
  5. If you wish to turn on the feature, tap I Agree.
  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab 👁 Image
    , then tap the icon in the top left.
  2. Tap Account Settings 👁 Image
     Delete Data.
  3. Swipe up to see your data, then tap a data type.
  4. Tap Delete to delete all data, or tap a date range to delete some data.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the data.
Choose to download all of your Fitbit data, or data from a specific duration.
