Link your podcast services and set your default

Important: This feature is available for YouTube Music and Spotify.

Listen to your podcast and pick a podcast service as your default. This default service will be used first when possible.

Link a podcast service

1. Open the Google Home app 👁 Image
   .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.

3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.

   • To switch accounts, tap the drop down 👁 Image
     👁 and then
     another account or Add another account.
4. Tap Home settings 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Services 👁 and then
   Podcast.
5. Under "More podcast services," tap the podcast service you'd like to use.
6. Follow the in-app steps to link your account to the podcast service.
   Tip: For all services, Google Nest and Home devices currently support a single account per streaming service.

Set a default podcast service

1. Open the Google Home app 👁 Image
   .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.

3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.

   • To switch accounts, tap the drop down 👁 Image
     👁 and then
     another account or Add another account.
4. Tap Home settings 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Services 👁 and then
   Podcast.
5. Under "Your podcast services," tap the podcast service you’d like to set as your default provider.
   Tip: If you don’t want to set a default podcast service, tap No default provider.

Unlink a podcast service

Important: You can’t unlink your default podcast service.

1. Open the Google Home app 👁 Image
   .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.

3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.

   • To switch accounts, tap the drop down 👁 Image
     👁 and then
     another account or Add another account.
4. Tap Home settings 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Services 👁 and then
   Podcast.
5. Tap Unlink.
