Create or edit notes on your speaker or smart display

Use your voice assistant to quickly create and manage notes directly on your speaker or smart display.

If you use Gemini for Home voice assistant

When this setting is on, your voice assistant can read info like your shopping list and help you with payments.
  1. On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app πŸ‘ Google Home app
    .
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
  3. Tap Home settings πŸ‘ Image
    πŸ‘ and then
    Gemini for Home voice assistant πŸ‘ and then
    Personal results.
  4. Edit settings.

Create a note

  1. Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google."
  2. Say a command like, β€œCreate a family note called β€œVacation ideas” and add β€œGo to the beach.”

Edit your note

You can edit your notes directly in Google Keep.

Fix issues with notes

If you can’t add to your notes and lists, check that you have Google Keep enabled.

  1. On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app πŸ‘ Google Home app
    .
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
  3. Tap Home settings πŸ‘ Image
    πŸ‘ and then

  4. Tap the radio button next to Google Keep.
