Create or edit notes on your speaker or smart display
Use your voice assistant to quickly create and manage notes directly on your speaker or smart display.
If you use Gemini for Home voice assistant
When this setting is on, your voice assistant can read info like your shopping list and help you with payments.
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app π Google Home app
. - At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
- Tap Home settings π Image

Personal results. - Edit settings.
Create a note
- Say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google."
- Say a command like, βCreate a family note called βVacation ideasβ and add βGo to the beach.β

Fix issues with notes
If you canβt add to your notes and lists, check that you have Google Keep enabled.
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app π Google Home app
. - At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
- Tap Home settings π Image
