Restart Nest Wifi or Google Wifi devices
Restarting your router or points can sometimes fix common issues. There are a few ways to restart your devices.
With the power cable
- Unplug the power cable from your Wifi device.
- Wait 10-20 seconds for it to fully power off.
- Plug the power cable back into your Wifi device.
- Wait 1 to 2 minutes for it to fully power on.
With the Google Home app
Restart your entire network
- Open the Google Home app 👁 Google Home Application Icon

Restart entire network.
Restart an individual point
- Open the Google Home app 👁 Google Home Application Icon

All devices 👁 Image
, then touch and hold your device's tile. - Tap Settings 👁 Image
👁 Image
Restart Wifi point.
Note: Only points can be individually restarted.
