Link your music services and set your default service

You can link your music services and pick a music service as your default on your Google smart speaker or display. This default service will be used first when possible.

Link your music services

Important: Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your speaker or display.

  1. Open the Google Home app ๐Ÿ‘ Google Home app
    .
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
  3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.

  4. Tap Home settings ๐Ÿ‘ Image
    ๐Ÿ‘ and then
    Music under โ€œServicesโ€.
  5. Tap the music service you'd like to use as your default service. Your voice assistant will use this service when you say โ€œHey Google, play music.โ€
    • If your music service isn't listed, make sure you've downloaded the app and signed in.
    • Under "More music services", you can link and unlink other available services. Tap a service to link or unlink it.

Google smart speakers and displays currently support a single account per streaming service.
