Change your device name

To make it easier to identify and control devices you set up in the Google Home app, you can change the names of your devices.

1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet and the device you want to rename are linked to the same account.
2. Open the Google Home app 👁 Image
   .
3. Tap Home 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   All devices 👁 Image
   , then touch and hold your device's tile.
4. Tap Settings 👁 Image
   .
5. For Google devices: Tap Device information 👁 and then
   Device Name or Name.
   • For non-Google devices: Tap Name.
6. Enter a new name.
7. Tap Save.
