Change your home and work locations in the Google Home app

Use your Google Account home and work addresses to personalize your experience across Google products. You can edit your home and work locations anytime in your Google account.

Your home and work locations are not the same as the address set for your home in the Google Home app. To update the physical location of your Google devices, learn how to change the address of your Google devices.

Change your home and work locations in your Google Account

1. Go to the home or work address settings in your Google Account.
2. Sign in to your Google Account.
3. Edit your address.

1. Open the Google Home app 👁 Image

2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.
   • To switch accounts, tap the drop down 👁 Image
     👁 and then
     another account or Add another account.
4. Tap Home settings 👁 Image
   👁 and then
   Manage your Google Account👁 and then
   Personal Info.
5. Under “Addresses,” tap Home or Work.
6. Enter your address.
7. Tap Save.
   • To remove a home or work address, tap Remove.
