Extended Pro Warranty for Nest products
Nest Pros can offer their customers a warranty extension for select products. Only Nest Pro edition products that Nest Pros sell and install in the US, UK and Canada qualify for the extension.
In select countries, if you purchase a Nest product and installation from a Nest Pro, you can get an Extended Pro Warranty. The system will activate the extended warranty when you add the product to your account.
If you purchase your Nest thermostat from Google or an authorized reseller, it comes with a standard warranty.

How to get a Nest Pro warranty extension
Important for Nest Thermostats:Your Nest Pro installer must enter their Pro ID at the time of installation. If they don’t, warranty extension won’t be added to the standard warranty.
