Answer questions about a place on Google Maps
In Google Maps, you can answer questions about places.

You might get a notification with questions about a place. To share an answer, tap the notification and follow the on-screen instructions.
Find your questions or answers
After you ask a question or provide an answer, you can find that information in your Google Maps contributions.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app 👁 Maps
. - Tap Contribute 👁 Contribute
.- If necessary, at the top, tap and drag the menu bar until you see Q&A.
- Tap Q&A.
- Scroll through your list of questions and answers.
Turn off notifications about questions & answers
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app 👁 Maps
. - Tap your Profile picture or Initial 👁 Account Circle

Settings 👁 Settings
. - Tap Notifications 👁 and then
Q&A and chat 👁 and then
Messages from businesses. - Under notification preferences, tap Off.
Report questions or answers
