Create a photomoji

You can customize your Google Messages experience with photomoji.

System requirements

You can create photomoji on Android 8.0 and up. This feature isn't available on Android GO.

Create photomoji to send as a sticker

1. Open Google Messages 👁 Image
   .
2. Open a conversation.
3. Tap the message box 👁 and then
   Emoji 👁 Sentiment Satisfied
   👁 and then
   Create 👁 Create
   .
4. Select a photo from your image gallery.
5. If there are multiple subjects in the photo, tap the one you want to send.
6. Tap Send 👁 Send
   .

Create photomoji to send as a reaction

1. Open Google Messages 👁 Image
   .
2. Open a conversation.
3. Tap and hold a message.
4. Tap Create 👁 Create
   .
5. Select a photo from your image gallery.
6. If there are multiple subjects in the photo, tap the one you want to send.
7. Tap Send 👁 Send
   .

Find a saved photomoji to use as a sticker

1. Open Google Messages 👁 Image
   .
2. Open a conversation.
3. Tap the message box 👁 and then
   Emoji 👁 Add reaction
   👁 and then
   Photomoji.
