Use Direct My Call

When you call a business with an automated menu, Direct My Call shows you on screen what the automated voice says and what menu options you have to choose from through tappable number buttons. To choose a menu option, you can tap buttons on your screen.

Tips:

• When you make calls on a Pixel 4a and later, you might be shown menu options before they're spoken.
• The "Faster menu options" feature is turned on by default.
  • To turn it off, go to the Phone app 👁 Image
    👁 and then
    More 👁 More
    👁 and then
    Settings 👁 and then
    Direct My Call. Then turn "Faster menu options" off.

Direct My Call only works:

• In the US and the UK
• In English
• On Pixel 3a and later Pixel phones
• On the latest version of the Phone app

1. Open the Phone app 👁 Image
   .
2. At the top right, tap More 👁 Image
    👁 and then
   Settings. 
3. Tap Direct My Call.
4. Turn Direct My Call on or off.

Tip: During an active phone call, to exit Direct My Call, at the top left of your phone screen, tap Close 👁 Image

After your call, you can share your audio and transcript to help improve Direct My Call.

1. Open the Phone app 👁 Image

2. At the bottom, tap Home 👁 Image
   .
3. Below the call log entry, tap Help us improve this 👁 and then
   Continue 👁 and then
   Continue.
4. Optional: You can enter feedback in the text box.
5. At the top right, tap Send 👁 Image

Tip: To share your data without sharing your email address, go to the Send Feedback screen next to the “From” field and tap the Down arrow 👁 Image
