Edit your photos

1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. Open the photo that you want to edit.
3. At the top, click Edit 👁 Edit
   .
4. To apply a suggested edit, click the suggestion name.
   • For example, click Enhance 👁 Image
     .
5. To undo changes, click the suggestion name again.
6. When you're finished, click Save.

1. On a computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. Open the photo you want to edit.
3. At the top, click Edit 👁 Edit
   .
   Tip: While you edit, click and hold the photo to compare your edits to the original.
4. To crop or rotate, click Crop & rotate 👁 Crop & rotate
   .
   • To crop the photo, drag the edges.
   • To rotate the photo, at the top, click Rotate 👁 Image
     .
5. At the top, click Save.

2. Open the photo you want to edit.
3. At the top, click Edit 👁 Edit
   👁 and then
   Tools 👁 Image
   .
4. Select the tools that you want to use with your photo.
5. Make changes.
6. When you're finished, click Save.
7. To undo an effect, select the tool and click Revert.

Available tools

• To adjust the position and brightness of light to portraits of a person, click Portrait light 👁 Image
  .
• To adjust background blur, click Blur 👁 Image
  .
• To select from several palettes and adjust the color and contrast in the sky, click Sky 👁 Image
  .
• To desaturate the background, but keep the foreground in color, click Color pop 👁 Image
  .

Tip: Tool options depend on your photo. Some tools may not be available for all photos.

4. Select the type of effect that you want to apply to your photo.
5. Move the dial to make changes.
6. When you finish, click Save.
7. To undo an effect, deselect the option.

1. On a computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. Open the photo you want to edit.
3. At the top, click Edit 👁 Edit
   👁 and then
   Filters 👁 Photo filters
   .
4. Select a filter.
5. To change the strength of the filter on the photo, move the dial.
6. When you finish, click Save.
7. To undo a filter, click None.

1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. Place your cursor over a photo or video.
   • To select the items you want to update, click Select 👁 Select
     .
3. At the top, click More 👁 More
   .
4. Click Edit date & time. If you selected more than one item, you'll find two options.
   • To specify a date and time for the first item and automatically adjust the dates and times for the other items as relative to that, click Shift dates & times.
   • To set the same date and time for all the items you selected, click Set one date & time.
5. To finish, follow the on-screen instructions.

• On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
• Open the photo with edits you want to remove.
• Click Edit 👁 Edit
  .
• Click Revert 👁 and then
  Save.

GO TO MY PHOTOS

1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. At the top, click Menu 👁 Menu
   .
3. Under “Collections,” click Albums.
4. Open a shared album.
5. Click the photo or video that you want to edit.
6. Click Edit 👁 Edit
   👁 and then
   Save.
   • Edits are visible to anyone you’ve shared this photo with.
   • To keep edits private, click More 👁 More
     👁 and then
     Save copy.

Tips:

• Only the owner can edit a photo or video in the shared album.
• When editing shared photos or videos from your gallery:
  • To reflect edits to the shared album, click Save.
  • To edit privately, click More 👁 More
    👁 and then
    Save copy.
