You can download the source code for components in Pixel products that are available as open source.

Find the build number of your device

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. On your phone: Tap About phone 👁 and then
   Build number.
   On your tablet: Tap About tablet 👁 and then
   Build number.

Download source code

1. Go to Codenames, Tags, and Build numbers.
   • In the table, find your build number and the git tag corresponding to the build number.
2. Go to Downloading the Source.
   • Follow the instructions to download your build number's source code using the corresponding git tag.
3. To obtain the source code for third-party components where the open source license grants you the right to receive the source, go to Get Android source.
