Use AI to manage your notifications

You can use AI to get a summary of notifications and a brief overview of long conversations.

  • This feature works across popular messaging app notifications like Google Messages, Android Messages, WhatsApp, and others.
  • When you turn AI Summaries on, a summary of unread messages will show in your notifications. To view the full message thread, you can either expand or tap the notification.
  • AI Summaries are indicated by text with a sparkle icon 👁 Image
    .

AI Summaries may not generate if:

  • You have shorter notifications, like brief text messages.
  • The language can’t be detected because there are mixed languages or only emoji.
  • You’re actively using your phone. The screen must be off for a moment.

You can use the Notification Organizer to sort notifications into categories like:

  • Promotions and News
