Set up tap to pay on your phone
2. Set Google Pay as your default payment app
Next, make sure Google Pay is set up as the payment default for your device.
- On your Android device, open the Settings app.
- In the search bar, type “NFC.”
- Tap NFC 👁 and then
Contactless payments👁 and then
Payment default. - Select Google Pay.
- Tap OK.
