Find the URL of a page or image

You can copy and paste or share a page or image with its web address or URL.

Get an image URL

  1. On your computer, go to images.google.com.
  2. Search for the image.
  3. In Images results, click the image.
  4. In the right panel, click More πŸ‘ More
    πŸ‘ and then
    Share πŸ‘ Share
    .
  5. Under β€œClick to copy link,” click the URL.

Tip: The image URL starts with https://share.google/.

Add a copied URL

After you copy a URL, it saves to your device’s clipboard.

To add or copy over the URL:

  1. Right-click in the text field.
  2. Tap Paste.

Get a search results page URL

  1. On your computer, go to google.com.
  2. Search for the page.
  3. At the top of your browser, click the address bar to select the entire URL.
  4. Right-click the selected URL πŸ‘ and then
    Copy.
  1. On your computer, go to images.google.com.
  2. Search for the image.
  3. In Images results, click the image.
  4. At the top of your browser, click the address bar to select the entire URL.
  5. Right-click the selected URL πŸ‘ and then
    Copy.

Get a page URL

  1. On your computer, go to google.com.
  2. Search for the page.
  3. In search results, click the title of the page.
  4. At the top of your browser, click the address bar to select the entire URL.
  5. Right-click the selected URL πŸ‘ and then
    Copy.
