Review licensed content in claimed videos
When a license strategy is applied to an asset and a video is claimed, the Claimed Videos page shows more info about the licensed content found in the claimed video.
View license info on claimed videos
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
- From the left menu, select Claimed videos ๐ Image
. - Click the filter bar ๐ Image
. - To view manually declared license claims, select Origin ๐ and then
In-product (Studio) and License state ๐ and then
Active. To view automatically identified license claims, select Origin ๐ and then
Audio match and License state ๐ and then
Active. - Click APPLY.
- In the License usages column, hover over a claimed video row to view details such as license strategy, acquisition price for that particular creator, asset name and ID, and other license terms.
Note: If no license strategy is applied to the claimed video that has a standard Content ID claim, a dash will show in the License usages column.
Check license statuses of claimed videos
- On the Claimed videos ๐ Image
page, click the filter bar ๐ Image
. - Select License state.
- Select one or more filters:
- Active: Claimed videos with content thatโs used under an active license.
- Inactive ๐ and then
License expired: Claimed videos with content that was used under a license thatโs now inactive because the license expired. - Inactive ๐ and then
Removed usage: Claimed videos with content that was used under a license thatโs now inactive because the creator is no longer using the licensed content. - Inactive ๐ and then
Terms violated: Claimed videos with content that was used under a license thatโs now inactive because the license was revoked due to a user violation of Creator Music restrictions.
- Click APPLY.
Get more details about license usage
- On the Claimed videos ๐ Image
page, click a claimed video to open its details page. - On the claimed video details page, you can view info such as:
- Price: Amount the creator paid for the licensed track.
- Subscribers: How many subscribers the creator had when the license was acquired.
- Strategy: License strategy linked to the license strategy page.
- Purchase date: Date the creator purchased the track.
- Start date: Date the creator published their video using the licensed track.
- Expiry date: Date the license expires.
License duration: Amount of time the license remains active, as defined by the license strategy terms.
Note: If a license is active, the policy associated with the claim will show as greyed out because the policy isnโt applied until the license expires. After the license expires, a โLicense expiredโ label will show and a Content ID claim may be created based on your chosen policy.
