Watch the World Cup on Fox One

For the first time, FOX One Primetime Channel subscribers can record every World Cup match with DVR functionality and enjoy select games in high-definition 4K. These features, along with Key Plays and Multiview, are included with your plan at no extra cost.

How to sign up for the FOX One Primetime Channel

You can sign up for the FOX One Primetime Channel directly through YouTube without needing a separate YouTube TV subscription.

  1. Find the channel: Search for “FOX One” or “World Cup” on YouTube, or navigate to Movies & TV and scroll to the Primetime Channels section. You can also sign up directly through the FOX One channel page.
  2. Start your subscription: Select the FOX One channel and follow the on-screen prompts to begin watching instantly.
Tip: Use the long press or 3 dot menu to save upcoming World Cup matches to your library and look for live and recorded matches right on your FOX One homepage.

Location and home area requirements

To access live content and use DVR features, you may need to verify your location. Your Current Playback Area is your physical location while watching, which impacts the live broadcasts available to you. Your Home area is where you primarily live and is required for DVR functionality.

Important details about your Home area:

  • DVR Recordings: You can only record DVR recordings that air in your Home area.

  • Traveling: You can watch your Home area DVR recordings anywhere in the U.S. once the airing has ended.

  • Access Limits: To keep access to your Home area DVR content, you must check in from your Home area at least once every 3 months.

For step-by-step instructions on verifying your location, see Manage your location settings for YouTube Primetime Channels.
