Sign in & out of the YouTube TV app

After you’ve downloaded the YouTube TV app, you’ll need to sign in before you can get started watching.

Sign in on your TV

Step 1: Open the YouTube TV app on your smart TV or game console. 👁 Image

Step 2: Scan the QR code, or go to on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Note: You can also choose Sign in with your remote to use the on-screen keyboard to enter your Google Account information.

Step 3: Enter the activation code shown on your TV 👁 and then
tap Continue.

If you get stuck at this step, your activation code may have expired. Try hitting back and reloading the page to refresh the activation code displayed on your TV. Then, enter the new code at .

Step 4: Select the account associated with your YouTube TV Base Plan.

Step 5: Select Allow to connect your devices and start watching YouTube TV.

Sign in on your mobile device

Step 1: Open the YouTube TV app.

Step 2: In the top-right corner, tap Sign in.

Step 3: Tap Continue.

Step 4: Select the account associated with your YouTube TV Base Plan.

Note: If the account you used isn’t listed, tap Add account to sign in with a different one.

Sign out

You can sign out of YouTube TV on any device where you're signed in, even if you no longer have access to those devices.

Sign out on a device

Open the YouTube TV app on your TV.
Select your profile photo 👁 Image
.
Select Sign Out.

Note: This action will sign you out of YouTube TV for all accounts on this device. If you want to keep using YouTube TV on this device, you'll have to sign in again.

Sign out of your account

Open the YouTube TV app on your TV.
Select your profile photo 👁 Image
.
Select Switch account.
Select Remove under the account you'd like to remove.

Sign out of a device you don’t have access to

On your computer or mobile device, go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Scroll to "YouTube TV" and click Remove access.
