  I've been using Thunderbird for the longest time, but recently two of my IMAP accounts are failing. I have three IMAP accounts connected in total, but the same two keep failing. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. When I startup Thunderbird, sometimes an error message says the following action was not successful and all of my IMAP folders for that account disappear. I then have to restart Thunderbird to get them back and then sometimes it fails again or the other account fails. I can't use POP3 because it doesn't show my folders for some reason, so I'm stuck with IMAP. Both of the failing accounts are outlook addresses. I've checked over my server settings and they both seem to be correct.

  How can I fix this?

  On Firefox, we have an online synchronization/backup feature that allows users to sync multiple computers' settings, addons, etc. I've gotten back into using Thunderbird just recently because it is such a powerful program. The only downside that I can see, is that I have spent so much time customizing it and setting up filters and saving my address book, that if my computer crashes or something happens to my profile, it will all be lost. Is there a sync feature with Thunderbird? If not, is there a good program that will backup my entire profile to the web or my external hard drive?

  I am running 2 computers with Windows XP and the latest version of Firefox. On both computers, a very small window will sometimes open when I first start Firefox. The window is just a blank default Windows title bar with no body to it. This issue does not occur on every startup, just sometimes.

  I have checked malware and addons, etc. It isn't a huge issue, just want to see if I can remove it.

  I have a problem with a new laptop that I bought recently, running 64-bit Windows 8, do not know if it will be a driver problem, but I doubt it, the issue is that normally browsing Firefox 22, after a while you start having problems displaying pages which makes it impossible to surf the internet, I attached a screenshot of what happens to me when the problem starts:

  I have tried re-installing Firefox, flash player, java, everything but it stays the same, to fix it I have to clear the history and ?cache?, but after a while the same thing happens again. I tried disabling plugins and so I doubt it's hardware problem, the only thing that was initially install ad-block, uninstall it after a while, that may leave me something in Firefox record causes me this problem? Thanks in advance.

  Every time I open Firefox for the first time, it opens the session restore tab and freezes for about 30 seconds. How can I stop this page from displaying on startup without having to delete history on exit?

  I want my homepage that I set to show up instead of the session restore tab.

  Firefox loads the blank page when it starts and no other tabs are opened on start-up. No matter how long I wait after the browser opens, it will go unresponsive when I go to load my first webpage. It can be anything and will do it every time! After the first page loads, it will load all the other pages perfectly without freezing. I like using Firefox because it is more customizable and functional than the other browsers, but I am considering changing to another browser which I really don't want to do. I have already tried disabling my extensions and uninstalling, but nothing I have tried has worked. I hope someone else will have better luck in finding an answer for me.

  When I first start my computer I can turn on Firefox and all of my extension I have installed will be displayed. Then when a close Firefox I continue to use my computer. When I open Firefox again, most of my extensions are not displayed. I am using Firefox 19.0.2 and this happens every single time.
