I haven't closed the comm or gave up on it and my site. It's just that my host [Dreamhost] has somehow managed to shut down one of their servers completely and I've contacted support over the weekend but my site is still gone. At least, there's something other than an error message there now, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that they didn't lose all my files somehow. :(
